Beach Wedding Attire
Destination weddings have becoming to be increasingly a popular choice among couples that want to have a wedding extraordinaire. This includes a lot of preparation like hotel arrangements for the guests, preparations to pick up the guests at the airports or their point of origin, taking the guests to the place of the ceremony and a lot more crucial preparations. One of the most popular choices for destination weddings is a beach wedding. The romantic glare of the sun and the encapsulating beauty of the environment all provide a nice atmosphere perfect for a wedding. Now, if you want to have a beach wedding, you have to be prepared in all aspects including your beach wedding attire.
Unlike the traditional church wedding, where you expect the bride to wear a bridal gown, preparing for a beach wedding might create confusion on the part of the bride on what is appropriate to wear on her chosen wedding style. However, it is basically up to your preference as a bride on what you want to wear. If you want to go for a beach wedding but still desire to keep up with the formal atmosphere of a wedding, then you can also wear a bridal gown; however you need to complement it with the surroundings. Since you are in a beach it would be awkward to use long laces with elaborating ruffles and all the frills that are in a usual wedding gown. Try to be at a minimal. Choose a style that will go with the environment like a halter, backless or strapless wedding dress.
A summer dress would also be a nice idea for a beach wedding. A beach dress made of cotton or any smooth flowing material would be an appropriate choice. It would look complementary to the occasion if you choose a white dress with some floral accents so that you are still creating a wedding feel for your beach occasion.
Or if you want to go all the way, instead of a dress or a minimalist wedding dress you can go with the usual beach attire for a more intense theme for your wedding. You can use your most precious bikini or whole piece swimsuit and wrap around a sarong for a quite decent look since this is your wedding. Your sarong could either be a long cut or a knee length cut. However, the latter is more preferable so that you feel more comfortable and can move easily while you romp on the white sand of the beach.
No matter what your choice would be for your beach wedding attire as a bride, you should always put into consideration that you need to keep things formal and decent so as to keep the solemn feel of the day when you exchange vows with your lifetime partner. At the same time, you should not overdo it by wearing inappropriate wedding gowns that are full of laces and does not complement with the beach wedding theme. As a bride, you need to look and feel at your best on this special day and this won’t be possible if you are not comfortable on what you are wearing on your wedding day.
